Social aggregating site Reddit finished 2011 with some monster numbers. According to a post on the site’s blog, internal analytics show Reddit had more than two billion pageviews in the month of December alone. Only eighteen YouTube channels have accomplished the feat of surpassing 1 billion YouTube views, among them Machinima, FAIL Blog, Expert Village, Ray William Johnson, and Barely Political.  Mondo Media, the animation distributor behind Happy Tree Friends, Dick Figures and other "deadly funny" series, is about to become number 19.

Google has released an update to the Google+ Android app that addresses one of my main complaints with the app, the fact that there was no way to filter the stream to a specific circle. You can now configure the Google+ Android app to display circle-specific views of your stream in addition to the all circles view.
