If you are in the market for a new or used car, your smartphone can be a handy tool for doing research on cars. Edmunds is one of the most widely known car buyer guides and while the app has been available for Android for some time, it has not been until recently that it began providing used car prices. Previously the Edmunds app only provided new car prices.

At the beginning of this year, Netflix’s stock prices tripled. The web-based movie rental company had released top devices and partnered with manufactures of consoles involving PS3, Xbox and Wii. The idea was to make it easier for customers to stream movies and TV shows right into their living rooms. Amazon has launched a free iPhone and iPad mobile shopping app for students before the back-to-school rush. The App allows the students to check and compare prices of textbooks and other stuff by simply scanning the barcode. Students will also have an option to sell their old stuff.
