A combination of Hispanic media companies resulted in the creation of a new Twitter hashtag, as #BeLatino was spawned when social media content and blogger marketing platform Hispanicize announced its acquisition of a “significant” stake in Hispanic social media platform and online magazine publisher Being Latino.
